12-05-2019.... Our 2019-2020 Cork Region Committee was elected at our AGM on 30th April. The new committee has immediately started work on planning a comprehensive calendar of events for the next 12 months.  22/10/2019 STEPS Young Engineers Award - Volunteer Workshop: Cork
About the event:

Are you an engineer or studying engineering? Want to find out more about inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers?

Come along to the STEPS Volunteer Training Session and learn all about how to get involved. There is no obligation - you can decide to opt in or opt out after the event.

Please note: you must have attended a STEPS Training Session to take part in the STEPS Volunteer Engineer Programme 2019.

At the training session you will meet the STEPS Team, as well as fellow STEPS Volunteer Engineers. We will go through topics like volunteering as an engineer, the STEPS Young Engineers Award and what happens at a STEPS school visit. There will also be lots of ideas on delivering engineering activities to young children. And it will be fun! Importantly, you will learn about the role of the STEPS Volunteer Engineer and our Child Protection Policy
